GeoNature Citizen is a free web solution of source code for citizen data projects.
In the GeoNature environment, Natural Solutions has developed the first version of the GeoNature-citizen tool, a citizen biodiversity inventory web portal for everyone.
GeoNature-citizen is a fully customizable tool. Your platform can consist of a single program or multiple collection programs and be based on an existing or adoc species list. Data collection is gamified to improve user management, using badges and scores. It can also be customized to accept whether new users are created or not.
How does GeoNature-Citizen work ?
GeoNature-citizen can be integrated into the GeoNature environment, as one data source among others.
This makes it possible to integrate citizen data into the synthesis, to benefit from validation, sensitivity, export tools and to disseminate them with other observations in GeoNature-atlas.
But GeoNature-citizen can also work autonomously. For that, he just needs TaxHub for each program's taxa lists, photos and taxa information.
